Rise in Elder Falls
Published on 04/09/08 09:58AM by sheldon toplittA recent newspaper article reported that 341 persons ages 65 and older died from falls in Massachusetts in 2006, the highest total on record since public health authorities began tracking such statistics, and almost two-thirds higher than the previous year.
